Who We Help

Care for Working Adults and Parents

When work, commuting, and family all compete for your time, your own mental health can slip to the bottom of the list. Psychiatric care can be arranged to fit around the responsibilities you carry.

When Others Depend on You

Many working adults and parents keep going long after they start feeling worn down. Stress builds at work and at home, sleep gets shorter, focus frays, and patience runs thin. Low mood or constant worry can become background noise that you simply push through.

Taking care of your own health is not selfish. It is part of being able to show up for the people who count on you. A psychiatric evaluation can help you understand what is happening and what might help.

Stress, Sleep, Focus, and Mood

Stress and burnout often show up in the body first: tension, fatigue, restless nights, and trouble switching off. Over time they can overlap with anxiety or depression. Care looks at how these pieces fit together rather than treating each one alone.

Functional & Integrative Psychiatry considers sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and relevant laboratory findings when appropriate, with small, realistic changes that can fit into a full schedule.

ADHD Questions in Adulthood

Some adults begin to wonder about ADHD when the demands of work and family outgrow the systems that used to keep them on track. Missed deadlines, forgotten appointments, difficulty finishing tasks, or feeling constantly behind can have many causes. The ADHD support page explains how an evaluation sorts through them, including sleep, stress, anxiety, and mood.

Care That Fits a Full Schedule

Tuesday and Wednesday sessions run until 6 pm, and short telehealth follow-ups from a private space can mean less time away from work.

The initial evaluation is 60 minutes. After that, medication management follow-up visits are typically 15-20 minutes, as listed on the fees page, which can make ongoing care easier to fit into a lunch break or a gap in the day. For cost and insurance, verify coverage with the office.

Sharing your usual work pattern with the office when you first reach out helps appointments be planned realistically from the start.

Telehealth From a Private Space

Secure telehealth lets you meet from home or from a private space at work, as long as you are physically in Michigan at the time of the visit. Choose somewhere you can speak freely without being overheard, such as a closed office, a quiet room at home, or a parked car.

Please never join a visit while driving. Your safety comes first, and a focused conversation is not possible behind the wheel. If you are running late, contact the office rather than joining on the road.

When a Teen's Care Raises Questions About Your Own

Sometimes a parent helps a teen through an evaluation and begins to recognize familiar patterns in themselves. The trouble focusing, the constant worry, or the low mood being described may sound a lot like your own experience, past or present. That recognition can be unsettling, and it can also be a helpful moment of clarity.

You can seek your own evaluation at any point. Your care is separate from your child's, with its own appointments and its own privacy. There is no need to have a clear answer before reaching out; describing what you have noticed is enough to begin. Looking after your own mental health can also make it easier to support your teen, because you are not running on empty while trying to help them. A free 15-minute consultation is a simple way to start the conversation.

Shared Decisions

Medication is one possible tool, never a requirement. Every decision is made together based on your symptoms, goals, and comfort level. When therapy would help, Claudia provides referrals to trusted therapists and specialists. You can request a free 15-minute consultation through the contact page to see whether care at Fall Bloom Mental Health is a good fit.

You set the pace, and plans are revisited as life changes.
